Pressable shows one price per plan, and its monthly hosting page says it doesn't use teaser pricing and that renewals match the rate you signed up for. The pricing page shows yearly billing only: Signature 1 is $250 a year, shown as $20.83/mo, with a "2 Months Free" badge for paying yearly. Monthly-billing prices appear on the homepage for two plans, $25/mo for one site and $90/mo for up to 10 sites, but we didn't see them for the other Signature plans. The pricing page doesn't say whether tax is included; the terms say fees exclude taxes and can change.
Web hosting review
Pressable
Pressable is a managed WordPress host; its footer calls it "An Automattic hosting lab". Its site clearly explains backups, support hours and response times, refund and cancellation rules, plan limits, and its 100% uptime SLA, and it posts incidents on a public status site. Harder to pin down were monthly-billing prices for most plans, a company registration number, and the text of its GDPR data processing agreement, which is sent on request.

Price over time
No intro price, so nothing jumps at renewal
Pressable shows one price per plan, with no separate renewal price, and says renewals match the rate you signed up for. These are the monthly equivalents of yearly billing; month-to-month billing starts at $25/mo. Prices in US dollars, without tax according to the terms, from pressable.com/pricing on 21 Oct 2026.

What we found
Each finding links to the Pressable page it came from. Prices are the US-dollar prices on pressable.com, which the terms say exclude tax.
The terms say you sign with Pressable, Inc., under California law, with courts in San Francisco County. The privacy policy gives its address as 60 29th St #343, San Francisco, CA 94110. The company page says Pressable was founded in 2010 as ZippyKid by friends in San Antonio, was later acquired by Automattic, and works as a distributed team. We didn't see a company registration number or state of incorporation on the pages we read.
Pressable's security article names pressablestatus.com as the place it posts public updates. The status site lists dated posts, newest first, with older posts a click away: on 15 Oct 2026 it reported cooling issues at the Dallas data centre, resolved at 21:34 UTC after traffic moved to failover facilities. Earlier posts include a 26 Aug service degradation that left some sites read-only and a 3 Aug chat outage. It shows no component list or uptime percentages. The SLA promises 100% network uptime each month, excluding scheduled maintenance, with a 5% credit per 30 minutes of downtime that you claim by email within 30 days.
Support is 24/7 by live chat in the MyPressable dashboard and by email at help@pressable.com. The homepage gives a four-week average first response of 2 min 9 sec and 98.5% satisfaction, dated April 2025; the plan table says about 4 minutes, and the FAQ says within two minutes. A phone number, 1 (888) 602-6756, is listed with the sales contacts, without saying it is for support. The support policy covers the platform and core WordPress, not your own plugins, themes or custom code. We didn't see supported languages.
All managed hosting plans have a 30-day money-back guarantee; you ask for a refund within 30 days of signup by emailing billing@pressable.com. It doesn't apply after a free trial, or to prepaid customers who choose Cancel Now, and Contract or Premium customers cancel through sales. You cancel in MyPressable under Billing, either at the end of the period or right away. Plans renew automatically, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. After that, the terms say refunds are at Pressable's discretion and otherwise all payments are final.
Every site gets file backups daily at 00:00 UTC and database backups every hour, kept for at least 30 days. You can download any file or database backup from the Backups & Restores tab in MyPressable, and restore one yourself with the restore tool; we didn't see a fee for restoring. On-demand backups are capped at 3 file and 3 database backups, and you can add more to your plan. All plans also include a Jetpack Security licence with its own real-time backups.
Free SSL certificates from Let's Encrypt come with every plan. Two-factor login for MyPressable can be turned on with an authenticator app or email codes, and passkeys can be added once it is on; the article describes it as a setting you enable, not a requirement. Every plan includes a Jetpack Security licence with malware scanning, and the homepage lists a web application firewall. Malware cleanup by support is included at no extra cost, though support says it doesn't do forensic analysis.
Sites run from four named data centres: Amsterdam, Ashburn (Washington, DC), Los Angeles and Dallas. You pick one when you create a site, and moving a site later means cloning it to the new location. Each site has a secondary server in a different region for automatic failover; we didn't see which region backs up Amsterdam. The GDPR page says a data processing agreement is available by emailing legal@pressable.com, and the privacy policy uses EU standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the EEA. We didn't see the DPA text itself on the pages we read.
The pricing page lists WordPress installs, monthly visits and storage as numbers for each plan. Signature 1 has 1 install, 30,000 visits and 20 GB of storage. Every Signature plan gets 5 dedicated PHP workers (5 vCPUs) per site, each with 512 MB, plus burst capacity without a stated amount. Going over costs $1.20 per 1,000 visits and $1.00 per GB of storage, with alerts at 80% of a limit. We didn't see a bandwidth figure, and "unlimited" is used only for site migrations.
You can download file and database backups from MyPressable, or copy files over SFTP and SSH and export the database with phpMyAdmin. A help article on moving a site off Pressable lists the steps, and we didn't see a fee for leaving. Cancelling deletes your sites, right away with Cancel Now or at the end of the billing period with Cancel Later, so the help article says to download backups first. Pressable doesn't register domains, so there is no domain to transfer out.
What you get per plan
Installs, visits, storage and PHP workers come from the pricing page. These are the three smallest Signature plans; the homepage sells Signature 1 and 4 as the Single Site and Agency plans. Bars compare each row against the largest plan.
| Limit | Signature 1 | Signature 2 | Signature 4 |
|---|---|---|---|
| WordPress installs | 1 | 3 | 10 |
| Visits per month | 30,000 | 50,000 | 150,000 |

Tech stack
Best for WordPress sites
Hosts are built for different kinds of sites. Here is what Pressable says it runs, and on which plans. Tech fit is separate from the signal score.
WordPress
Best fitEvery plan is managed WordPress hosting, with automatic core updates, staging, edge caching, free migrations and Jetpack Security. You get SFTP, SSH with WP-CLI and GitHub deployment, but no root access. Path-based multisite works on all plans; domain-based multisite needs Signature 5 or higher.
Plans: All plans, from Signature 1PHP
SupportedPHP 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4 are supported, and you can switch versions per site. Pressable moves sites to the next version when one reaches end of life. Each site has one database, and non-WordPress PHP apps aren't supported.
Plans: All plans, alongside WordPressNode.js, Python, Docker & static sites
Not offeredThe platform page says non-WordPress sites, applications and frameworks aren't supported, and Pressable may ask you to remove ones that strain resources. We didn't see Node.js, Python, container or static site hosting on the pages we read.
Plans: Not offeredSales practices
Worth a closer look
We check five common sales practices and note them next to the score, without changing it. Two need a pass through checkout, which this scan didn't do. We'll add them on the next recheck.
- Not noticed"Unlimited" without a stated limit. "Unlimited" appears only for site migrations. Visits and storage are listed as numbers, with overage rates. PHP "burst capacity" and Premium's "millions of visits" carry no number.
- Not checked yetAdd-ons ticked for you at checkout. This scan didn't go through checkout. Extra backups, visits and storage are described as add-ons in the help articles.
- Not checked yetPrices that change at the payment step. The terms say fees exclude tax; the pricing page doesn't say. The homepage plan cards show "$tk /yr" placeholder text for yearly prices. We didn't check the final checkout total.
- Not noticedCountdown timers that reset. No timers on the pages we read. The legal page lists terms for several 2026 promotions and migration bonuses.
- NoticedReviews with no source. Three 5-star homepage reviews carry a name but no date or source. Three more quotes are credited only to a company logo. Trustpilot and G2 badges elsewhere on the page link to those sites.
Questions to ask Pressable

This report covers what Pressable publishes, as read by an AI. It can miss things or misread a page. We didn't host a test site, so it says nothing about real speed or how helpful support feels.
