The shared hosting page shows, for each plan and term, the price due today, the regular price and the date and amount of the first renewal. Basic is $1.66/mo on a 3-year term ($59.76 today) and renews on 21 Oct 2029 at $119.52 for 3 years ($3.32/mo). The intro prices come from the FALL promo code, which the page says gives 50% off the first term only, for new services. A separate renewal pricing page lists every plan's renewal price for monthly to 3-year terms. We didn't see whether prices include tax, and the pages use "$" without naming the currency.
Web hosting review
MDDHosting
MDDHosting shows the renewal date and price for every billing term on its shared plans, and it explains support hours, refund and cancellation rules, backups and per-plan CPU and memory clearly. Its status page lists past incidents back to 2018. Harder to pin down were whether prices include tax, a GDPR data processing agreement, a bandwidth number for the "unlimited" plans, and how to move a domain away.

Price over time
Shared hosting renews at twice the intro price
This is common in hosting, and MDDHosting shows the renewal date and price next to each intro price. These intro prices need a 3-year term paid upfront and the FALL promo code, which halves the first term only. On monthly billing, Turbo is $7.50 for the first month, then $14.99/mo; Basic isn't sold monthly. Monthly prices in dollars, with no tax note, from mddhosting.com/shared and mddhosting.com/renewal on 21 Oct 2026.
Uses the listed $119.52 renewal price for the next 3-year term. On the annual term, Basic is $2.50/mo and renews at $4.99/mo. Actual renewal prices and terms may change.

What we found
Each finding links to the MDDHosting page it came from. Prices are the dollar prices on mddhosting.com; the pages we read don't name the currency or say whether tax is included.
The terms, privacy policy and contact page name MDDHosting LLC. The terms are governed by Indiana law, with arbitration in Morgan County, Indiana. The contact and company pages give a mailing address at 5231 E State Road 144, Mooresville, IN 46158, United States. The company page says MDDHosting LLC is privately owned, was formed in 2007, and links to its record on the Indiana Secretary of State business search. We didn't see a registration number or a registered office address written on the pages we read.
A public server status page, open without logging in, lists 16 servers and any open or scheduled network issues. Its resolved list shows 24 incidents from September 2018 to August 2026, such as a large DDoS attack on 21 Aug 2026, a network disruption on 9 Apr 2026 and a multi-day outage in September 2018 that needed restores from backups. The terms promise a 100% uptime SLA: if a physical server is down for more than 1 hour, you can claim 10 times the downtime as credit within 7 days, capped at the monthly charge. VPS and dedicated servers aren't covered, and outages of single services like email or MySQL don't count.
Support tickets are answered 24/7, and technical tickets need a client login. Live chat for sales, billing and technical help runs Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 12:30 AM Eastern, and phone support for sales and billing only runs Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM Eastern, at 1-877-412-4678. The contact page says technical tickets averaged 4 minutes over the last 7 days and chat usually responds in under 2 minutes; the homepage showed a 10-minute average at the time we read it. The support scope page says help with your own scripts and apps is best effort. We didn't see which languages support is offered in.
Shared, Turbo, Plaid, managed cloud, premium and Elastic reseller services have a 30-day money-back guarantee; domains, VPS, dedicated servers, licences and design services are excluded. A help article adds that a free domain is valued at $14.95 and isn't refunded. You cancel only through the cancellation form in the client area, choosing "End of Billing Period" or "Immediate", which is the default; cancellations by email, ticket or chat aren't accepted. Services bill automatically on the due date until you cancel. After 30 days, the terms give pro-rated refunds for unused time in whole months, except for VPS, dedicated servers, domains, licences and lifetime plans.
The shared page says Basic and Turbo are backed up daily off-site, keeping 7 daily, 6 weekly and 6 monthly copies, and Plaid plans every 6 hours, keeping 42 six-hourly and 24 weekly copies. You restore a full account, files or databases yourself with JetBackup in cPanel, and can download a past full-account backup there. Help articles give shorter retention: one says each daily point is kept for 7 days, another says 7 to 21 points. The terms say accounts over 25 GB, or with over 250 GB of changes a month, may be left out of backups, and dedicated servers aren't backed up. We didn't see a restore fee.
All shared plans include unlimited free SSL certificates. Two-factor login for the client area uses time-based codes from an authenticator app, and setup gives you a backup code. Shared plans include Imunify360 malware scanning, threat blocking and automatic cleanup. Pure WordPress adds Patchstack virtual patching and free malware removal, and VPS plans include SiteLock Lite daily malware scanning for up to 5 pages.
The company page and a help article name one facility: the Handy Networks data center in Denver, Colorado. The Pure WordPress page says "US-based datacenters" without naming a city. We didn't see a choice of location. The privacy policy names MDDHosting, LLC but doesn't mention GDPR, a data processing agreement or where customer data is stored, and it has no date.
Each shared plan lists CPU cores, memory, storage, entry processes, processes and inodes. Basic has 2 cores, 2 GB RAM, 5 GB SSD and 100,000 inodes, and Plaid Plus has 8 cores, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB NVMe and 2,000,000 inodes. Bandwidth is listed as unlimited on every plan, and Turbo and up list unlimited domains and email accounts. The unlimited policy gives no numbers, while the terms say the monthly bandwidth allowance varies by package, with overage at $0.10 per GB; we didn't see the allowance for each plan. VPS plans list 2 to 6 GB RAM, 25 to 75 GB storage and 1 to 5 TB bandwidth.
You can generate a full account backup in cPanel's Backup tool and download it through cPanel, File Manager or FTP, and back up databases separately there. JetBackup can also download a full account backup from a past date. The terms say backups you make yourself are removed from the server after 72 hours. We didn't see a guide for moving a domain to another registrar, or whether that costs anything, and the terms don't say what happens to your files after you cancel.
What you get per plan
Numbers come from the shared hosting plan cards. Plaid Plus has 8 cores, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB NVMe and 2,000,000 inodes. Bars compare each row against the largest plan shown.

Tech stack
Best for WordPress and PHP sites
Hosts are built for different kinds of sites. Here is what MDDHosting says it runs, and on which plans. Tech fit is separate from the signal score.
WordPress
Best fitShared plans run LiteSpeed with LiteSpeed Cache, Redis and Memcached, with free migration. Pure WordPress is a managed plan at $29/mo for one site, with a staging copy, automatic updates, hourly backups and Patchstack; it doesn't include email.

Plans: VPS, from CS 2GDocker & containers
VPS plansWe didn't see Docker mentioned on the pages we read. VPS plans run on OpenVZ 7 with full root access and the SolusVM control panel; cPanel and full management are paid add-ons.

Worth a closer look
We check five common sales practices and note them next to the score, without changing it. Two need a pass through checkout, which this scan didn't do. We'll add them on the next recheck.
- Noticed"Unlimited" without a stated limit. Every shared plan lists unlimited bandwidth, and Turbo and up list unlimited domains and email accounts. The unlimited policy gives no numbers, and the terms mention a monthly bandwidth allowance per package without stating it. Per-plan CPU, memory and inode limits are listed. It may be published somewhere we didn't look.
- Not checked yetAdd-ons ticked for you at checkout. This scan didn't go through checkout.
- Not checked yetPrices that change at the payment step. The plan pages don't say whether tax is added. We didn't check the final checkout total.
- Not noticedCountdown timers that reset. No timers on the pages we read. The homepage says "Up to 67% OFF" with the FALL promo code, without an end date.
- Not noticedReviews with no source. The homepage cites a 4.9 out of 5 Google rating from 443 reviews. Its testimonial section showed no review text for our reader, so we couldn't check individual reviews.
