Kinsta shows one price per plan, with no separate renewal price. Single 35k is $35/mo on monthly billing, or $350 a year on annual billing, which the page says gives two months free. Some plans give new customers the first month free, and the terms say promotions renew at the standard fee. The pricing page says prices exclude tax and are in US dollars. Going over a plan's limits costs extra, for example $0.50 per 1,000 visits and $0.50 per GB of server bandwidth.
Web hosting review
Kinsta
Kinsta is a managed WordPress host. Its site clearly explains prices, overage rates, backups, support hours and languages, refund rules and its 30 data centres. A company registration number was harder to pin down from the website alone. Application, database and static site hosting now run on Sevalla, a separate Kinsta platform with its own website, which this scan didn't cover.

What we found
Each finding links to the Kinsta page it came from. Prices are the US-dollar prices on kinsta.com, without tax.
The terms say you sign with Kinsta Inc., under Delaware law. The data processing addendum and privacy policy give its address at 8605 Santa Monica Blvd #92581, West Hollywood, California. The About page says Kinsta was founded in 2013 and its team is fully distributed. The privacy page summary says the website is run by Kinsta Limited, registered with the UK Information Commissioner as ZA290018, and the policy lists contacts for the UK, EU and Switzerland. We didn't see a company registration number for Kinsta Inc. on the pages we read.
A public status page tracks 58 components in two groups: 10 services such as MyKinsta, the CDN and DNS, and the data centres by region. It lists the last 15 days of incidents, each with timed updates. On 20 Oct 2026 it showed a partial outage in London, and an 8 Oct disruption in Northern Virginia was marked resolved. It links to a full history page, though its entries didn't load for us. The SLA promises 99.9% uptime by default, with credits of 5% to 20% of the monthly fee that you request through chat within 30 days.
Customers on a paid plan get 24/7 support by live chat and tickets in MyKinsta, in eight languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese. The support docs state an average response time under 2 minutes. There is no phone line for hosting support; sales has a phone number and WhatsApp. Billing support works weekdays from 1 a.m. to 11 p.m. UTC, and larger plans get an account manager.
Managed WordPress plans have a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time customers, which starts after any free first month. Dedicated server fees, one-time fees and overages are excluded, and add-on fees from that period are deducted. You cancel in MyKinsta under Company settings, and plans renew automatically until you do. After 30 days the terms say fees are non-refundable, and a cancelled add-on gives a prorated account credit, not cash. The terms allow price increases with reasonable prior notice, without a fixed period.
Every WordPress site gets a daily automatic backup, kept for 14 days on smaller plans and 20 or 30 days on larger and Agency plans. You can add up to 5 manual backups and restore any backup yourself in MyKinsta; we didn't see a fee for restoring. Once a week you can create a downloadable ZIP with the site files and database, available for 48 hours. Backups every 6 hours cost $20/site a month, hourly backups $100/site a month, and copies to Amazon S3 or Google Cloud $2/site a month plus $1 per GB.
Every plan includes free wildcard SSL through Kinsta's Cloudflare integration, renewed automatically, plus a firewall and DDoS protection. Two-factor login is required for MyKinsta, with a code by email by default or an authenticator app. The security page lists malware monitoring, and malware removal is free for WordPress sites without nulled plugins or themes. If you don't finish the follow-up steps within one business day, later infections cost $100 to clean.
The docs list 30 data centres by city, including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich and London in Europe, and you pick one when you create a site. A data processing addendum covers the GDPR, UK GDPR and Swiss law, and is part of the terms with no separate signature. It uses EU standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum, and the privacy policy adds the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Plans list WordPress sites, monthly visits, disk space and CDN bandwidth as numbers. Single 35k has 1 site, 35,000 visits, 10 GB of storage and 125 GB of CDN bandwidth. The docs give PHP threads per plan, from 2 threads with a 512 MB pool on Single 35k, and say each live site container can use 12 CPUs and 8 GB of RAM by default. The overages page gives the rate for each limit. "Unlimited" is used only for migrations and users.
You can make a downloadable backup of your files and database once a week, export the database with phpMyAdmin, or copy files over SFTP and SSH. We didn't see a fee for cancelling or leaving. Cancelling deletes all sites and DNS records in MyKinsta permanently, so you need your own copy first. The domain pages describe pointing a domain you already own to Kinsta, and we didn't see domain registration, so there is no domain to transfer out.
What you get per plan
Sites, visits, storage and CDN come from the pricing page; PHP threads and CPU and memory come from the docs. These are the cheapest single-site plan and the two smallest multi-site plans. Bars compare each row against the largest plan.

Tech stack
Best for WordPress sites
Hosts are built for different kinds of sites. Here is what Kinsta says it runs, and on which plans. Tech fit is separate from the signal score.
WordPress
Best fitEvery plan is managed WordPress hosting, with each site in its own isolated container, free staging, daily backups, a CDN and free migrations. You get SSH, SFTP and a Git client, but no root access.
Plans: All plans, from Single 35kPHP
SupportedPHP 7.4 to 8.5 are listed. The technical FAQ allows a simple PHP script next to WordPress, but says other PHP apps aren't supported on managed WordPress hosting.
Plans: All plans, alongside WordPressNode.js, Python, Docker & static sites
Not offeredApplication, database and static site hosting moved from MyKinsta to Sevalla, a separate Kinsta platform, on 2 Feb 2026. The kinsta.com pages for these products now send you to sevalla.com, which this scan didn't cover. On higher-tier WordPress plans, support can install Node.js and npm for a site.
Plans: Sevalla, on its own websiteSales practices
Worth a closer look
We check five common sales practices and note them next to the score, without changing it. Two need a pass through checkout, which this scan didn't do. We'll add them on the next recheck.
- Not noticed"Unlimited" without a stated limit. "Unlimited" appears only for free migrations and users. Visits, storage and bandwidth are listed as numbers, with overage rates.
- Not checked yetAdd-ons ticked for you at checkout. This scan didn't go through checkout. The pricing page lists add-ons such as extra backups and Redis separately, each with its own price.
- Not checked yetPrices that change at the payment step. Listed prices exclude tax. The default plan card shows $0 for the first month and $35 after that. We didn't check the final checkout total.
- Not noticedCountdown timers that reset. No timers on the pages we read. A banner across the site reads "First Month Free!".
- NoticedReviews with no source. Three homepage quotes carry a full name and company. Five are credited only to a first name, an initial and sometimes a job title, near a G2 rating badge but without saying where they come from.

This report covers what Kinsta publishes, as read by an AI. It can miss things or misread a page. We didn't host a test site, so it says nothing about real speed or how helpful support feels.
