Web Hosting plan cards show Economy at $11.22/mo, Premium at $17.03/mo and Ultimate at $25.97/mo, and the same prices appear under the 1, 2 and 3 Years tabs. Further down, the Technical Specifications section lists $3.25/mo, $6.50/mo and $10.83/mo under a 3 Years tab, and labels such as "Save ##%" and "From $x.xx" were unfilled for our reader. We didn't see a renewal price on any plan page. The general terms say charges are published on the website and that pricing is "displayed exclusive on applicable taxes and surcharges"; GST isn't named.
Web hosting review
Crazy Domains
Crazy Domains explains its money-back and cancellation rules, its uptime guarantee and status history, two-factor login and how to move a domain away clearly. A few things were harder to pin down from the website alone: renewal prices, support response times, how long backups are kept, a company registration number, and whether a GDPR agreement is offered. Several plan pages showed two different sets of prices and unfilled placeholders such as "From $x.xx" for our reader.

What we found
Each finding links to the Crazy Domains page it came from. Prices are the dollar prices on crazydomains.com.au; the page doesn't print "AUD" next to them, and the terms say prices are shown exclusive of applicable taxes, without naming GST.
The footer says crazydomains.com.au is "a division of Dreamscape Networks International Pte Ltd", and the terms say the site is owned and operated by that company. The terms give an address at 3 Irving Road #09-01, Singapore 369522 for merchant facilities, and the complaints policy uses the same Tai Seng Centre address for management. The terms are governed by Singapore law. The About page says Crazy Domains was established in 2007 and is managed by Newfold Digital Inc. We didn't see a company registration number, ABN or Australian address on the pages we read.
A public status page at pulse.crazydomains.com tracks shared hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, email, domains and billing. When we looked, two issues were open and Linux Shared Hosting and Business Hosting showed degraded performance. The history page lists past issues and maintenance, such as a shared hosting network issue on 25 Sep 2026 that lasted from 8:29 to 8:43 am AEST. The uptime guarantee promises 99.9% network uptime, with a credit of 5% of the monthly fee per 30 minutes of downtime, up to one month's fee. Scheduled maintenance and DDoS attacks are excluded, and we didn't see how to claim the credit.
The contact page lists phone sales and support on 1300 210 210 from 6am to 10pm AEST, live chat that is "available 24/7", and a web form. The hosting FAQ says 24/7 support is by live chat and email, but we didn't see a support email address. We didn't see response times for support; the complaints policy says a complaint gets a response within 7 days. For VPS and dedicated servers, the server terms say self-managed plans get no technical support and managed support is billed hourly.
Web hosting has a 60-day money-back guarantee, counted from when the service is set up. You ask by email for both cancellation and a refund, and account credits can't be paid out as cash. If a Business Hosting plan came with a free domain, the refund is reduced by the regular domain price. Server products only get a refund or credit if you cancel within 72 hours. The terms say purchases include an "opt-in enrolment" in automatic renewal for the same length as the first term, and you turn it off under Setup Auto Renewal in the Account Manager at least 1 calendar day before the renewal date. Outside the money-back window, charges are non-refundable unless Crazy Domains agrees otherwise.
The Business Hosting FAQ says business plans get "7 days of free bundled backup instead of the standard 2 days". The WordPress Hosting page mentions automated weekly backups and one-click file restore, and the Web Hosting page lists on-demand backups. A help article shows how to make, download and restore a backup yourself with the cPanel Backup Wizard. We didn't see a clear backup schedule or whether a restore by Crazy Domains costs extra. The web hosting terms say you are solely responsible for keeping your own backups, and Site Backup with daily backups is sold as a separate product. We didn't see backups mentioned for VPS or dedicated servers.
Economy, Premium and Ultimate hosting include free SSL certificates. The account supports two-step verification with a code by SMS or an automated voice call; we didn't see an authenticator app or backup codes. Hosting plans list malware protection and standard DDoS protection, without further detail. SiteLock malware scans with automatic removal are sold separately as Site Protection, and only its Premium plan adds a web application firewall.
The Web Hosting page says sites run on a Linux server in an Australian data centre and lists Sydney data centres; Business and WordPress Hosting also name Sydney. The VPS page says services are provided from Australia, Europe and the USA, without naming cities or saying whether you can choose. The data centre page only says the facilities are tier-1 and located worldwide. The footer's Privacy link goes to Newfold Digital's privacy center, which doesn't name Crazy Domains, and we didn't see a GDPR data processing agreement or sub-processor list.
Web Hosting lists numbers per plan: Economy has 1 website, 10 GB NVMe storage, 5 email accounts, 5 MySQL databases, about 20,000 visits a month and 1,000,000 files. Ultimate has 10 websites, 50 GB and about 40,000 visits. We didn't see CPU or memory for shared plans. Bandwidth is "unmetered", and FTP accounts and cron jobs are listed as unlimited, with no limit stated. Linux VPS plans list cores, memory and storage, from 2 cores, 4 GB and 100 GB NVMe on Standard, but VPS prices showed as placeholders for our reader.
A help article shows how to make a full account backup with the cPanel Backup Wizard and download it from cPanel yourself. To move a domain away, you unlock it and get the EPP code from your account; a 60-day lock may apply after registration, a transfer or a change of registrant details. We didn't see a fee for transferring a domain away. The terms say Crazy Domains doesn't help export data to other applications, and that data may be deleted straight away on cancellation, so you need to download it first.
What you get per plan
These numbers come from the Web Hosting page. CPU and memory aren't listed for shared plans, and some items are unlimited or unmetered without a number. Bars compare each row against the largest plan.

Tech stack
Best for WordPress and PHP sites
Hosts are built for different kinds of sites. Here is what Crazy Domains says it runs, and on which plans. Tech fit is separate from the signal score.
WordPress
Best fitWordPress Hosting has Economy, Premium and Ultimate plans with the same storage and site counts as Web Hosting, plus a staging site, managed WordPress updates, a free Cloudflare CDN and SSH/SFTP access. It names Sydney data centres. All hosting plans list one-click installs of WordPress and 200+ other apps in cPanel.
Plans: WordPress Hosting; WordPress also runs on Web and Business HostingPHP
Best fitLinux hosting plans list multiple PHP versions and SSH access. A help article shows how to change the PHP version in the Linux Control Panel or in cPanel with Select PHP Version or MultiPHP Manager, but it doesn't name the versions offered. We didn't see Git mentioned.
Plans: Web, Business and WordPress HostingNode.js & Python
VPS plansWe didn't see Node.js or Python mentioned for shared plans on the pages we read. Linux VPS plans come with full root access, so you can install software yourself, with AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux or Ubuntu.
Plans: Linux VPSDocker & containers
VPS plansWe didn't see Docker mentioned. Linux VPS plans give full root access, from 2 cores, 4 GB memory and 100 GB NVMe storage, and dedicated servers offer SSH root access. VPS and dedicated prices showed as placeholders for our reader.
Plans: Linux VPS and dedicated serversSales practices
Worth a closer look
We check five common sales practices and note them next to the score, without changing it. Two need a pass through checkout, which this scan didn't do. We'll add them on the next recheck.
- Noticed"Unlimited" without a stated limit. Hosting plans list unmetered bandwidth and unlimited FTP accounts and cron jobs, without a number. The plans do give monthly visit counts and a 1,000,000 file limit.
- Not checked yetAdd-ons ticked for you at checkout. This scan didn't go through checkout. The terms say purchases include an opt-in enrolment in automatic renewal.
- Not checked yetPrices that change at the payment step. The terms say prices are shown exclusive of applicable taxes, which appear before payment and on invoices. We didn't check the final checkout total.
- Not noticedCountdown timers that reset. No timers on the pages we read. The homepage mentions a Black Friday offer with the text "Promo valid until 1-Dec'25", and plan cards carry "Save ##%" labels that were unfilled for our reader.
- Not noticedReviews with no source. The homepage quotes two named customers, each with a link to their story. The customer reviews page links to Trustpilot without showing a score. The homepage line "Trusted by over 1.7 million businesses" has no source.

This report covers what Crazy Domains publishes, as read by an AI. It can miss things or misread a page. We didn't host a test site, so it says nothing about real speed or how helpful support feels.
